Why I Chose the Heartbeat <3

Some of you may wonder, the story behind the pieces and products we pick at KSBoutique. First off, a piece that’s close to my heart is the heartbeat necklace that is featured in our sterling silver collection. Why this piece? As soon as I saw this piece at a buying show I loved it and knew we needed to bring it in. I have always had a passion for helping and caring. I spent 3 years studying Pre-Vet to become a Veterinarian but unfortunately after 3 years at University of Saskatchewan I found out I was allergic to animals. This was saddening for someone who hoped and dreamed of taking care of animals but it led me to Nursing! I went from helping and caring for animals to now helping and caring for humans. My heart led me to the right place. I am currently in my second year at MacEwan University and have enjoyed every minute of it. And of course I loved this necklace as soon as I saw it. I personally own this piece (I mean I couldn’t resist) and I wear it everyday! Wearing it brings me back to all the memories I have made so far during nursing school. From clinicals and taking care of patients to labs to studying crazy amounts for exams, wonderful memories of pharmacology come back when I write this to you lol. This necklace is truly become a piece of me and I love wearing this special piece! We have been grateful to hear some of the stories from customers who have bought this necklace, one was a parent to a daughter that had just graduated Nursing and they felt this was the perfect gift for her!
